Bombus Bugloss
I came across the Common Carder Bee (Bombus pascuorum) when I was documenting the huge variety of bees I see in our nature reserve.
It's a species of bumblebee, fluffy - sooo cute!
It loved buzzing around the trumpet flowers of the Viper's bugloss, just as well it has such a long proboscis to get to the nectar.
Hang this print on your walls to celebrate your love of the lesser known pollinators that visit our gardens.
